Armstrong considers shock return

Armstrong says he could come out of retirement to try for an eighth straight Tour de France victory. Armstrong said: "While I'm absolutely enjoying my time as a retired athlete, the recent smear campaign out of France has awoken my competitive side. "I'm thinking it's the best way to p*** [the French] off. I'm not willing to put a percentage on the chances but I will no longer rule it out." (BBC Sport)
Way to go Lance on your 7th victory, a smooth sailing once again. But dude, no, no, no, no, please do not come back. Enjoy your retirement, you deserve it. You do not have to prove to some two-bit franchie by coming back, sock-it to them, if they are sore about it, just too bad. No need to trouble yourself and get all worked up. You are the greatest tour rider and one of the giants in this here sport, nuff said.
