Honda could supply 11th F1 team

Honda is engaged in negotiations with an unnamed independent team which could result in two more cars joining the Formula One grid next season. The Japanese company, which now owns the BAR team, plans to supply the new entrant with engines and expertise. Former Jordan sporting director Trevor Carlin and Japanese team Dome have been linked with the new project, but the entrant's identity remains a secret.

"The intention's for (the team to enter in) 2006," said BAR team boss Nick Fry. "Obviously it's a tall order but that is the objective. There's a lot to be done." Current BAR driver Takuma Sato looks certain to move to the new team if the talks come to fruition. (BBC Sport)

Yessss, the old camel tarot cards are working overtime and the hits just keep on coming. It is very ambious of Honda going all out like that...I think Toyota is a lil confused now on wot's happening. I think we are begining to see mega teams style. A duo team running for a greater chance at racing glory?...hmm...how is this shaping up is anyone's guess, time will tell.
