The Button-Gate Aftermath : Button hits back over criticism

Jenson Button has defended himself from criticism over his decision to remain with BAR rather than move to Williams. Former team owner Eddie Jordan claimed the 25-year-old Briton could have damaged his reputation by pulling out of his contract with Williams. (BBC Sport)

EJ could be right, Button move and his reverse decision will view as rather haphazard and rash, instead of a quitely dealing with the issue, he has broadcast it, not a good idea. He better do well in BAR, or else, he is gonna have difficult time to get another drive in 2007. Who can trust him anymore?

Sato will leave BAR, says manager

Japan's Takuma Sato will not stay on at BAR as a reserve driver after losing his Formula One race seat, according to his manager Andrew Gilbert-Scott. "I can't see any benefit. There are two race drivers on long-term contracts so there's no future," Gilbert-Scott said.

"We want to find something to move forward," he added. Briton Jenson Button confirmed on Wednesday he will continue to drive for BAR next year while Brazilian Rubens Barrichello is to join from Ferrari. BAR, which is 45% owned by Honda, have been heavily criticised for dropping Japan's only F1 driver. (BBC Sport)

It's Sayonara Sato-san! As said earlier, the accident-plague Takuma will be dropped, BAR has got no room in the first place with three capable drivers in Rubans, Button and Davidson. Futher, Sato performance was less then desired. Too bad, but results talks and Takuma's results shows him the pink slip.

Maybe Honda will end-up forming their own team like Toyota....that will be a sight to see but don't think Honda will commit to that. Sato could join A1, will just have to see what happen. Better luck next time Sato-san!
